Terms of Service

Whispsy is a speech-to-text application for Windows. Whispsy is a brand operated by Red Press Wire Ltd (Company No. 17054431), Suite 10560, 5 Brayford Square, London, United Kingdom, E1 0SG (“we”, “us”, “Whispsy”). These Terms of Service govern your use of the Whispsy app and the whispsy.com website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

Whispsy converts your speech into text and types it into applications on your computer, and offers related features such as voice shortcuts and text replacements. Speech is processed in real time using third-party AI speech-recognition providers.

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. One account is for one user; do not share credentials.

Whispsy offers a free plan and paid subscriptions (currently Pro and Unlimited). Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars and may exclude taxes that apply to you.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us, via Stripe, to charge your payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel.
• Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel before it renews.

You can cancel at any time — there is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Manage or cancel your subscription from your dashboard (Manage billing), which opens the Stripe billing portal.

• When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period, then stops renewing. You are not charged again.
• Payments already made for the current period are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
• If you are a consumer in the UK/EU, you may have a 14-day right to cancel a new subscription; by starting to use the Service within that period you acknowledge it begins immediately.

Do not use the Service unlawfully, to infringe others’ rights, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or to resell it without our permission. We may limit or suspend accounts that abuse the Service or exceed fair-use limits.

You own the text you create with Whispsy. We do not claim ownership of your transcripts. You are responsible for how you use the text the Service produces.

The Whispsy app, website, branding and software are owned by Red Press Wire Ltd and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.

The Service is provided “as is”. Speech recognition is not perfect and accuracy can vary with audio quality, accent and environment. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Red Press Wire Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here; continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
